rylei's first birthday party {event photography}

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Rylei's first birthday party! It was a very special day for her family, and her parents went all out with a rainbow theme and decorations - even making their own rainbow backdrop by hand for family, friends and guests to take pictures in front of. I absolutely love a well thought out party that brings together a ton of fun details under one roof, and Rylei's mom did not disappoint. From the swizzle straws to the cupcakes to the pounds (and pounds and pounds) of Skittles adorning different corners of the room, I never ran out of colorful details to shoot.

Rylei was an absolute joy the whole day, and the cutest birthday girl ever! I know it's pretty much a given that every parent loves their kids, but it was undeniable to see how much Rylei's mom loved her. Here are just a few of my favorites from the birthday girl's big day!
